General Notice
The City of Arabi, Georgia (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
SEWER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS
WASTEWATER COLLECTION SYSTEM
22-0023
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the City Hall located at 4110 Bedgood Avenue, until Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 2:00 PM local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The Project includes the following Work:
• Installation of approximately 32,900 lf of 2-inch HDPE force main with associated fittings and appurtenances
• Installation of approximately 2,900 lf of 3-inch HDPE force main with associated fittings and appurtenances
• Installation of approximately 7,900 lf of 4-inch HDPE force main with associated fittings and appurtenances
• Installation of approximately 110 owner-supplied septic tanks with associated pump station, electrical and service lines.
• Abandonment of approximately 100 existing septic tanks
• One pipeline crossing of a state highway
• One pipeline crossing of a railroad
Obtaining the Bidding Documents
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is:

Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office by paying a non-refundable deposit of $500.00 for each set. Electronic copies of the bid documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office for a non-refundable deposit of $ 300.00. Make deposit checks for Bidding Documents payable to SOWEGA ENGINEERING, LLC.
Pre-bid Conference
A mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 10:00AM at City of Arabi, 4110 Bedgood Avenue, Arabi, Georgia. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that do not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference.
